Cycling the Dalmatian Coast, Croatia

With 1778 km. of coastline and 1185 offshore islands, the Dalmatian Coast is one of the true wonders of Europe. Said to have the clearest waters in the Mediterranean, and undoubtedly packed with historic and cultural interest, cycling through its islands is a unique experience. The journey takes place on the long and beautiful islands of Hvar and Korcula, travelling by bike and ferry. The scenery alternates between seaside villages, tiny mediaeval walled towns and lovely quiet pebble bays, set against a backdrop of pine forests and mountains. What can be a better way than cycles to enjoy the sea, sunshine, mountains and wildlife.
