A wild safari
Unlike popular belief, the land of the Xhosa and the Zulu is not just about wild life. After having your fill of the Private Game Reserves and coming face to face with animals you’ve been watching only on National Geographic, you can experience fishing, fruit picking in the orchards, quad bike riding and swimming in a farm. Off then you go to Tsitsikamma, a combined marine and forest park with indigenous forests and giant yellowwood trees, waterfalls, lakes, mountains and rivers just prefect hiking, canoeing bird watching, abseiling and swimming. Opt for the canopy tour or the crowning glory of Tsitsikamma - the Sunrise Cheetah Walk. Not for the faint hearted, shark diving with the Great White and whale watching are next in Knysna&Gansbaai. A much needed rest to all that adrenaline will take you to South Africa’s wine country in Stellenbosch where a must see is the Oude Meester Brandy Museum. The grand finale of the South African journey would be Cape Town. Known for its beauty, its historic buildings, lively waterfront and harbour, theatres, restaurants and nightspots make a great way to unwind and bid adieu to this diverse land. One can choose from a variety of activities from cable car and hiking trails up to Table Mountain to boat trips around the harbour&Robben Island and of course, plenty of shopping for last minute retail therapy.
